Absolutely Fabrics was established 4 years ago in small premises on the North Tyne industrial estate in Benton, within a year it became apparent we needed much more space for our ever expanding stock we  made the move to 20C in 2007, We have now doubled in size by expanding into the adjoining unit and stock more accessories, lighting,shades, cushions, knobs and hooks in addition to occasional furniture, reupholstered armchairs and great stools buttoned or plain all made to order by our upholsterer.
Absolutely Fabrics travel the length and breadth of the country with frequent trips to France to source and aquire the best of fabrics and accessories.
The shop is stacked to the rafters with thousands of roll’s of velvets, silks, cottons, linens, chintzes, animal prints, stripes or spots, toile de jouy, or exotic pure silks in all the colours of the rainbow, prints for nurseries or children’s bedrooms, faded floral for the country house or bergamots, Fire Retarded fabrics, double width cottons or voile panels from India hand embroidered with velvet and crewel work.

Antique crystal chandeliers  imported from France, Italy and Europe in addition to English are all rewired and restored to their former glory  by a small and meticulous family firm of restorers.

The Stags Head chandelier is new from France but realistically made in  resin,  they make an impact in any situation with matching mirrors & wall lights.
